I have heard the Long Island Ice-Tea's sneakly get you drunk. It kinda sneaks up on you and BAM you're hammerd. Well, I would have to say Chemoradiation does the same thing. Everything was pretty standard. Get up, get the little ones, make sure the big ones were up, load the car for our hour drive to Raleigh, sit in the car with the little ones while Tony gets shot up with radiation...which takes all of 10 min. Get the little ones dressed for school in those 10 min, and then an hour drive back to Fayetteville to take the little ones to school...ALL BEFORE 9 AM!!!
This was my life for 5 weeks. The 5th week was so rough, I begged my mom to come down and help. She was great. She didn't just help, she gave me someone to talk to. I needed my mom and I needed a friend...Thank God she was there and could be both.
